Having trouble figuring how much material you need? Below is the way you measure for most aggregate products. Aggregate products are sold by weight not yards or square feet.

1 yard = 1 ½ tons
27 square feet = 1 yard

How to measure your area:
Multiply length x width x depth = sq. feet.
Example: 4 ft long x 3.5 ft wide x .34 (4 inches) deep.
This equation would give you 476 square feet

Divide square feet by 27 = yards
Example: 476 divided by 27 = 17.63 yards

Multiply yards x 1.5 = total tons needed.
Example: 17.63 x 1.5 = 26.45 tons

Inches converted to feet
1" = .09   3" = .25   5" = .42   7"=.59   10"=.84 2" = .17
4" = .34   6” = .50   8"=.67   11"=.92
